Most standard deadbolt doors take a smart lock with no extra drilling. We do a quick fit check on arrival, and if your door needs prep we'll tell you before we start.

Do you set up the app and codes for me?

We do. We pair the lock to your phone, set your user codes, turn on auto-lock if you want it, and show you how to add or remove codes for family and guests.

Can I keep a physical key as a backup?

Many smart locks include a keyway, and we can key it to match your other locks. For app-only models like the August or Level Bolt, your existing deadbolt key still works since the lock mounts on the inside.

What happens if the smart lock battery dies?

Most keypad locks warn you for weeks before the battery goes, and many have a contact-point or hidden keyway for emergency power or entry. We'll show you the backup method for your specific lock during the walkthrough.
