About Apex Locksmith Pros
Your local, licensed locksmith for car, home and business in McKinney and nearby cities.
Apex Locksmith Pros is a licensed, insured mobile locksmith based in McKinney, Texas, holding Texas company license #B31197901 from the DPS Private Security Bureau. We help drivers, homeowners and businesses in McKinney, Plano, Frisco, Allen and 23 more nearby cities and neighborhoods get back in and stay secure, same day, open daily 8 AM to 8 PM. Our work covers four areas: emergency lockouts and broken key extraction, automotive keys and fobs, residential rekeying and smart locks, and commercial locks and access control. There is no shop to visit because we come to you, every job gets a flat quote on the phone before dispatch, and there is never a call-out fee. We serve customers in English.
Our Story
Apex Locksmith Pros is a young company built on hands that aren't. Before opening the business in 2026, our founder Ihor worked in the trade: cutting and programming car keys, rekeying houses after closings, pinning master-key systems for offices. Long enough to learn what customers value most when they call a locksmith: a clear price before anyone drives out, a tech who knows the job, and a company that answers the phone itself.
Apex was built around those three things. One local company, one phone number that rings in McKinney, and the person who built the business still close to the work. Everything we do is mobile: instead of towing your car or hauling locks to a shop, a tech arrives with the blanks, the programmer and the pinning kit already in the van, so most jobs are finished on the spot.
Our Mission
Make calling a locksmith simple. You describe the problem, you hear a flat price, a licensed tech arrives with the parts and tools for the job, and the final bill matches the quote, on a Sunday the same as on a Tuesday. Locks guard the things people care about most, and we treat every job that way.
That's also why our Texas DPS license (#B31197901) sits in the footer of every page instead of buried in fine print. Look it up, verify it, and feel free to ask the tech for their license card. We are glad to be checked.
Where We're Headed
- 1.Become the name neighbors pass along. We're new under this banner, so we earn trust one finished job at a time, with the same flat quote and the same careful work on every call.
- 2.Keep same-day service across all 27 cities and neighborhoods we serve. From Celina down to Lake Highlands, as the call volume grows the team grows with it, so the service stays the same on the edge of the map as it is in McKinney.
- 3.Grow without going corporate. Every tech we add is trained to the same standard the owner works to.
What We Work By
Licensed & insured
Licensed by the Texas DPS Private Security Bureau and insured.
Upfront, flat pricing
You get the price before any work starts, and the bill matches the price you approved. No call-out fee.
Truly local
We dispatch from McKinney to the nearby cities we serve, so service is the same day, not a tech driving in from across the state.
Open every day
Lockouts never pick a convenient time. We answer 8 AM to 8 PM, seven days a week, weekends included.
Who Picks Up the Phone
Ihor, Owner & Lead Locksmith. Hands-on across the trade, from transponder programming to commercial exit hardware, and still the standard every Apex job is measured against. Questions about a job, a quote, or anything that didn't go the way it should have? Ask for the owner. That's not a slogan here, it's a working phone line: (469) 712-5422.
