The Acura TLX has used a proximity (push-to-start) smart key fob for its whole run, both the first-gen 2015-2020 car and the second-gen 2021-and-newer one. There's no metal key to turn in an ignition; the fob talks to the car over an encrypted Honda/Acura HITAG-style transponder signal, and there's a hidden mechanical emergency blade inside the fob for the door if the battery dies.
