GMC Car Key & Fob Replacement
GMC truck or SUV down to one key? We cut and program GMC keys and fobs at your location across North Dallas, Sierra, Yukon, Acadia, and Terrain, usually the same day.
A mobile locksmith handles GMC key and fob replacement on-site: Sierra and Yukon proximity fobs, Terrain and Acadia remote-head keys, and the older transponder trucks. We program through the OBD port by VIN in your driveway, no dealership visit, with the flat price quoted before the van rolls.
GMC Keys & Fobs
GMC mirrors its GM truck siblings: Sierras and Yukons from about 2014 on run a flip key or remote-head unit on base trims and a proximity push-to-start fob on higher ones, while Terrain and Acadia follow the same split by year and trim. Before that, GMC trucks used GM's PK3 / Circle Plus transponder keys with the classic 10-30 minute relearn. Every replacement is cut to your VIN (laser-cut on the newer proximity trucks) and registered to the body control module so the immobilizer, remote start and lock buttons all work. If you've ever priced a Sierra fob at the dealer parts counter, the on-site version is the same part programmed in your driveway for less.
All keys lost on a GMC is routine: key code by VIN, fresh blade, immobilizer relearn at the truck. On the older PK3 trucks the relearn takes up to half an hour of security timeout. Annoying, but it's wait time, not tow time.

GMC Key FAQ
Yes. We pull the cut code from the VIN, cut the blade or emergency insert, and program the fob or chip at the truck. Adding a spare next to a working key is quicker, but zero keys is still a driveway job.
