Buick Car Key & Fob Replacement
Buick key or fob trouble? We come to you across North Dallas and handle Enclave, Encore, Envision and LaCrosse keys on-site, usually the same day.
An auto locksmith replaces Buick keys and fobs at your location: proximity smart fobs on the newer Enclave, Encore and Envision, remote-head and flip keys on the 2010s cars, and the older GM transponder keys before that. Cut by VIN, programmed through the OBD port, flat total quoted on the phone.
Buick Keys & Fobs
Buick follows GM's playbook. The current lineup of Enclave, Encore GX, and Envision is mostly proximity push-to-start fobs with a hidden emergency blade. The 2010s cars (LaCrosse, Regal, Verano, first-gen Encore) split between remote-head keys and flip keys with a transponder chip, many on a laser-cut blade. Go back further and you're in PK3 'Circle Plus' transponder territory with the security relearn wait. Whatever the year, the chip or fob has to be married to the car's body module by VIN. A hardware-store blade copy will open the door and refuse to start the engine, which is the call we get most often.
No working Buick key at all? We build one from the VIN: blade cut by code, immobilizer relearn at the car, new fob registered. Bring photo ID and proof of ownership, standard for any all-keys-lost job.

Buick Key FAQ
Yes. The proximity fob is registered to the car through the OBD port and the emergency blade cut by code, done in the driveway, usually under an hour.
